- Doubling the size of the Allen Bates River Park in the City of Martindale. The addition will expand the public access to the river and expand the existing trail.
- Reaching out to stakeholder organizations and local residents to protect land in and around the Guadalupe watershed.
- Working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, U.S. Geological Survey, Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority and other partners to establish a real-time water quality monitoring network throughout the Guadalupe River watershed.
- Working with several landowners to secure donated conservation easements on their properties in Wilson, Calhoun, and Kendall Counties.
